Access: This property is accessed by traveling across a US Forest Service Road that comes in on the North side of the property. The current land owner has an easement from the US Forest Service for use of this road to access the property. The landowner has to pay about $100/year for the easement.
Land: The 160 acres lies on the North side of the Kiamichi Mountain Range. The terrain on this property varies from level to gently sloping on the North half of the property to fairly steep on the South half of the property. The Northeast property corner lies at the foot of Kiamichi Mountain with an elevation of 1360 feet and the Southwest property corner lies on the very top of Kiamichi Mountain with an elevation of 2350 feet. The timber was harvested off approximately 25 acres about 10 years ago.
