No. 01795 Thinking of moving to Mt View, AR? Prefer country living? Here's your home– 1-1/2 story, 1 bedroom down and 2 sleeping areas up, 2 bath, double car port – -private, beautiful, clean, completely remodeled on 5.7 acres on a mountain top! Features include: new roof less than a year old, mini-split, PEX plumbing, sun room, vaulted ceiling, beamed ceiling, wheel chair access, handicapped ramp from covered carport area to the back door. Located in crime free area only 14 miles from Mt View.

There's Propane for back-up heat and city water. There's a large cistern for garden water if you prefer that . . . The plants certainly seem to!

One hour and 45 minutes from Little Rock, 14 miles from Mt View, Arkansas. Two hours from Branson, MO. Three hours from Springfield, MO. Atop a mountain ridge, Fox Mountain is a star gazer, bird lovers paradise! Even eagles! There's a painting everywhere you look, the Autumn colors this year were absolutely stunning! And this year we had snow, almost two inches!

All appliances included . . . Stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Some furniture if you want it. Water repellant laminate flooring. Vaulted ceiling in Living room. A whole wall of floor to ceiling windows across the back of the sun room which overlooks a beautiful wooded, backyard area strewn with lichen covered boulders and a small, spring fed pond. A landscapers dream yard just waiting to happen.

The sun room would make a great art studio, study, writer's retreat or hobby area. The house is small, about 1200 sq feet but very open downstairs. One bedroom is downstairs and two small sleeping areas with a 3/4 bath upstairs. A huge storage area is upstairs. This house has an unusual, out of the ordinary yet very practical layout. Not a run of the mill, cookie cutter floor plan. On a concrete pier foundation there is a crawl space and a room for the hot water heater. The previous owner was in the cement business so there's lots of concrete in, around and under the house. Very well built and sturdy, the house was built around a 100 year old cabin. The huge log beams were left exposed in the kitchen and dining area so they could be seen.

There's an extra large, double, attached carport (RV parking pad on the other side of the house) with a covered handicap ramp along the side of the house (not the front of the house) that leads up to the back porch. The covered side deck off the French doors in the back is a great BBQ area. Sit out in the evenings and watch the deer and the turkey. Plenty of room for a garden. All elecitric with propane back up, new mini split heat and A/C, 9 ceiling fans! Very energy efficient. Large front porch with all wood surround. Nice wide steps both front and back. Very private, the house sits well back from the gravel road on heavily wooded acreage, circular driveway and good sized storage building.

There is a gravel pad off to the right of the house, perfect for an OTR trucker family, room to park an 18 wheeler rig or an RV or even a mother-in-law mobile home. Plenty of back up and turn around area for a rig. Very safe environment, dead-end country road with older, long time residents.

. . . And rocks!!! This is Stone County, there's rocks/stone everywhere! Imagine rock walls, rock barbques, rock mail box bases, rock patios . . . and if there's more stone than you know what to do with, there's a stone company in Timbo that will buy your rocks if you want to sell them!

We have lots of visitors that come for the mountains and music which are both free in just about any direction you look! Mt View is the Folk Music Capitol of the world! If you're a painter, great! There are two artists that live on the road. The most popular State Park in Arkansas, the Ozark Folk Center, is in Mt View. Blanchard Springs and Blanchard Caverns are popular area attractions, fish Mirror Lake or the White River, Kayak or Canoe the Buffalo. Stroll the square in Mt View and listen to the music, host your own music getaway right in your own back yard! Plenty of activities for retirees or visiting grandchildren . . . I forgot to mention the Loco Ropes Zip Line . . . OR– if you're a young family simply wanting to relocate to the country for a better life away from the crime in the cities, smaller schools, etc, this is the place. There are three great, small schools to choose from as well as all the other benefits of country living . . . Fresh country air, great neighbors, raising your own livestock or chickens, gardening, bird watching, enjoying the wildlife, canning plum jam and jelly from your own (prolific) plum tree in the backyard, just picking blackberries in the woods or hunting for morel mushrooms. All sorts of experiences that would enhance the life of youngsters growing up in the country or perhaps extend the life of retirees, who knows.
