The Jones Tract (#03019–03537) is a +/- 38-acre parcel of timberland located in eastern Columbia County roughly 2 miles southwest of Mt. Holly, AR (North 33.288639°, West 92.982987°). The topography is hilly and well-drained. Access is available via gated woodsroad running west from McCall Road for about a half-mile to the northeast corner of the property (Call us for gate combo). The upland ridgeline still contains a stand of more mature natural pine timber; the lower lands contain a younger stand of natural pine timber. An abandoned oil/gas well site existed once in the northeastern portion of the tract. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soil composition of the property is mostly based upon Angie fine sandy-loam, which give the tract a weighted average site index of 86.1 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
