The Bulldog Tract (#03019–03588) is a +/- 47-acre tract of timberland located in southern Union County about three miles southwest of Strong, AR (North 33.088180 °, West 92.396427°). The topography consists mostly of rolling hills. Access is via gravel road running south from Union RD #24 aka “Lovett RD” for about 150 yards to a half-acre camp site that is on the north boundary of the property. The eastern boundary of the property has additional frontage on Union RD #24 aka “Aurelle RD”. About 38 acres were planted with OP Select Containerized Loblolly Pine seedlings in 2019. The western portion features about 7 acres of a hardwood located around a small creek drain and wetland area that provides excellent wildlife habitat. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soils consists of an assortment of soils including Guyton silt loam, Sacul-Sawyer complex and Warnock-Smithdale complex soils, which give the tract a weighted average site index of 88.6 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50). The tract was surveyed in 2016 and a plat of the survey is available upon request. Landowner/Lessees have sixty (60) days to remove personal property from the time of closing.
